Saturday 14th June, it`s ride time!

The planned ride is around 14.3 miles in the beautiful Kentish countryside. Meet at Snodland Community Centre, 10am.

Leaders are Stewart and Pete.

The ride is social and chatty as ever and the pace is very civilised. Optional coffee and cakes at the finish.

No lycra or sporty bikes necessary.

New riders always welcome.

@SnodlandRidersCCC - adults group social bike ride. Around 1.5 hours at a chatty pace, about 12 to 15 miles with an option to cut it shorter for those wishing to do so. Lead by qualified ride leaders.
Always friendly and welcoming. Meet 10am at Snodland Community Centre. No lycra necessary. New riders always welcome. We retire to a cafe afterwards for coffee and more chatting, but this is optional of course.

🚲 🙌 We’re excited to announce that we’ve signed with Hounslow for another year to continue delivering our Fix-a-Bike®️ courses in schools!

Our courses give young people the chance to learn real-life bike maintenance skills in a hands-on, practical environment. From puncture repairs to full safety checks, students learn how to look after their own bikes while building confidence, independence and resilience.

Each session is led by experienced instructors, and all tools and bikes are provided. No prior knowledge needed – just a willingness to learn!

We’re incredibly grateful to the @WWMT_charity for supporting @SnodlandBikeClub this past year 💛

With their help, we’ve grown our offer for girls and women, seen more of them getting stuck into our rides, and made our MTB Rideouts even more exciting by heading to bike parks and trail centres 🚴‍♀️

We’ve also been able to loan top-quality bikes to ensure everyone can join in – no barriers, just great riding.

All of this is made possible through the amazing efforts of @RideLeLoop riders, who take on the challenge of cycling the @LeTourdeFrance route a week ahead of the pros – raising funds to support young people like ours. 💪👏

Good luck to this year’s riders – the adventure begins on 28th June.

🚧 HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚧

Snodland Town Council are undertaking some exciting improvements to the Snodland Pump Track, starting 2nd June 2025. During this time the track will be closed while the contractors carry out essential works to:

✅ Extend the Learn to Ride area across the full width of the track�✅ Replace the muddy entrance with smooth tarmac�✅ Repair and tarmac the dirt bank to prevent future wear�✅ Add more benches and picnic tables for everyone to enjoy

These upgrades will improve the riding experience, make the space more accessible, and help even more young people learn to ride 🚴‍♀️🚴
Huge thanks to @access_sportuk, Snodland Town Council, Snodland Partnership, and @communitycycleworks for funding this project 👏
